Celebrating Mother’s Day, SIG’s Srikandi Holds AKHLAK Core Values Talks to Maximize Self-Potential
Rembang, December 17, 2022 - PT Semen Gresik (PTSG), in collaboration with SIG’s Srikandi, held a learn & share event about AKHLAK Core Values, while also celebrating Mother’s Day, under the theme, “Understand Your Full Potential, and Conquer from Within”. This event was conducted online and offline at Rumah BUMN Rembang (16/12).
With the angkringan AKHLAK concept (coffee talk about AKHLAK), this event presented the President Director of SIG, Donny Arsal, and the President Director of PTSG, Subhan, as the speakers, and the Production Director of PTSG, Reni Wulandari, as the main speaker.
The event that also applied the traditional heritage concept was also attended by the employees of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or SIG and SOE’s Srikandi from the Infrastructure cluster.
Donny Arsal, in his opening remarks, expressed his pride and amazement and claimed that this event was also an opportunity for the SIG’s Srikandi to show their spirit. “This event was important to disseminate the AKHLAK core values. It could be a positive foundation in the working environment for every SIG’s personnel,” Arsal explained.
Meanwhile, the President Director of PTSG, Subhan, stated that SIG’s Srikandi has tremendously contributed to the Company’s sustainability in the global era.
“We hope that the collaboration and cooperation among these strong SIG’s Srikandi can be maintained while also being competent to implement Akhlak core values,” Arsal said.
The main speaker in the learn & share event about Akhlak Core Values, the Production Director of PTSG, Reni Wulandari, shared that understanding and managing ourselves well is a must before facing the external situation.
“There needs to be a strong foundation within ourselves, which can be our internal source of energy to deal with the unexpected challenges out there,” said Wulandari in her press release (17/12).
The roles of women in the working life, Wulandari continued, are now apparent in every company.
“As a part of Srikandi, we have to remain competent and professional in the working life, so the existence of women will not be just for the gender equalism concept,” she said.
Women need to start optimizing themselves now to be adaptable in the everyday environment and the working environment, Wulandari added.
“Especially for SIG personnel, optimizing yourselves can increase your passion for maximizing your self-potential and managing your restlessness better, so it will be a powerful combination to help you achieve your biggest dreams,” she concluded.
